Scioto SWCD works to communicate conservation messages and education to the public of Scioto County throughout the year.  You can find us at the Scioto County Fair, the Rarden Whitetail Deer Festival, Shawnee State Park, and many other places.  Check our calendar for upcoming events.

We offer programs and workshops at least once a year and have many gardening programs as well.  Be sure to check out our other educational pages for more info.  Highlighted on the right are a handful of events we regularly offer and information about upcoming dates.

River Days Parade Float

We can be found at the Rarden Whitetail Deer Festival, the Scioto County Fair, Tree City Celebration, Trout Derby, and several other events throughout the year.

We host a variety of great outreach events each year.

We are available to give presentations and activities with your groups including scout groups, 4H, youth groups, church groups, garden clubs, and even a coffee clutch.

Throughout the summer we offer sessions through the Ohio Division of Wildlife to teach youth to fish!

Archery programs are offered at Shawnee State Park and we now have archery equipment available to loan for your programs.
